Flying Fish has been supplying some of the best seafood in the British Isles to the UK's best chefs since 2006. John Godden moved to Cornwall to be closer to the source of beautiful seafood produce, and Flying Fish was born. Thanks to a combination of hard work and hard-won expertise, they have grown from a one-man band into the growing and respected company they are today. Now they serve hundreds of customers, including many Michelin-starred chefs and restaurants.
With strong year on year growth since their inception, Flying Fish have gradually taken on more and more adjacent production units, but after running out of prebuilt space, they made the decision to build more. John contacted ProjectLink, who managed to build a 150m square new production extension, along with refurbishing Flying Fish's fish production areas in the existing buildings.
The deadline was tight, but ProjectLink hit all the marks for timing and budget.
What We Did
ProjectLink designed and managed the following works as part of the project:
- Local Authority Building Control, Building Regs Approval
- Groundworks, Foundations and Concrete Slab
- Blockwork Building
- Coldstore Panels and Doors
- Refrigeration Equipment
- Lighting, Electrical and Plumbing
What They Said...
"The association with ProjectLink worked well with my business requirements. They helped us gain valuable space at a time when we were bursting at the seams. Their approach is friendly, professional and adopt a can-do attitude. I will contact them again when I need yet more space... sometime soon I expect".
