The installations utilise insulated composite sandwich panels. The wall and ceiling panels typically have a polyisocyanurate (PIR) insulation core, which meets with the approval of most insurance companies. The panels are faced with a steel sheet to each side, which are coated with a hygienic ‘foodsafe’ laminate making them non-tainting and suitable for food contact. The system is complemented by a range of hinged and sliding doors, trims and sealants that are all suitable for use in food preparation environments.
